Here’s a poster I recently designed for Cantina Agave’s Cinco De Mayo party on, you guessed it 5th May!
UPDATE: for some reason the poster looks lime green on this upload!
This is a project I recently completed for WWF China for the Earth Hour event on Saturday 23rd March. The concept was to engage people in doing more than just turning the lights out for an hour, but to continue devoting their time help save the environment by taking on one of seven green initiatives.
These included: Eating more vegetables once a week (as the rearing and production of meat has a higher impact on the environment), using public transport or pedal power once a week, using recyclable containers, sharing food and so on.
I came up with the idea of tying in endangered animals into the wallpaper images to create a stronger link to other key causes the WWF supports. You can download the wallpapers here
The final art work is also below
I was watching my new favorite cartoon Motorcity (a mix of Gorillaz and Hot Wheels on an acid trip) where one of the characters named Dutch has a cool spray paint mask.(pictured around his neck)
This inspired me to create some cool face mask art of my own. I am looking forward to seeing people walk past and smile as they see my face!
These are pretty easy to make and I would be happy to share the design and the art work with anyone who wants to make one for themselves, just drop me a line! (thanks peter for taking the photos!)

Here are the finished business card for Mia’s Yunnan Kitchen. The brief was to create a new look business card which met with the new modern and contemporary design of the newly renovated restaurant.
The key was to tie the modern contemporary feel without losing the vibrant history that Yunnan holds as a Province. I also wanted to create some unique visual identifiers which could be used for the menu and other promotional materials.
The end result was a business card comes in four different colors with a corresponding image of a food item which was distinctly Yunnan.
The client loved the designs and we will be incorporating the four visual identifiers into the menu to represent, specials, spicy dishes, vegan and Yunnan mushroom dishes.
I went in today and we saw a customer take one card and go back to take another variant of the card, which is exactly what we wanted customers to do as it would help them identify the different images and tie them back to Mia’s when they next seem them in the menu and on promotional flyers.
Here are more images, enjoy!
A very good friend of mine asked me to work on a logo/ image design for a new TV show he is writing. It’s an awesome show about a rag-tag bunch of soldiers in modern times who are essentially knights for hire, helping those in need.
The title Freelancers, as they used to carry lances around is actually where the word freelancer comes from wiki
The team would go around righting wrongs and helping those who are being held at the tyranny of others. After they have saved those who need saving they would leave their mark to let others know that they are watching you!
I worked on several designs starting with a much more samurai/ superhero type helmet design before moving back towards a more traditional helmet.
Let me know what you think!
first attempt (too busy)
second attempt much cleaner image
third attempt bigger jaw less pointy nose
variation on third attempt with teeth like air vents
fourth attempt was to change the view from side to front facing with more traditional knights helmet
The front facing view was a winner and I made a mock-up poster and stencil on a very infamous wall…
My new business cards have arrived!!!! after weeks of designing and contacting suppliers, being told its impossible to make… it finally arrived today and … it’s a true thing of beauty!
