China recently announced that from 8 January 2023, Covid-19 will be reclassified as a lower infection category and will therefore no longer be subject to quarantine management measures. This means no more mandatory quarantine for people entering China.
2022 has been a difficult year, but we are confident that 2023 will be better. Our new journey is about to start as we enter a new era of life after Covid. Let’s move on from 2022 and jump into 2023 by taking a look at some of our favourite 2022 client projects and highlights of 2022. Bring on the changes, bring on 2023!
Kolon Sport
We designed an immersive pop up installation for Kolon Sport at Grand Gateway 66 in Shanghai. Here you can experience the Aurora Borealis in an immersive way and a snow camp in the heart of the city by picking up your boarding pass and climbing aboard our spaceship for a trip to Antarctica.
Asics
The new 3-floor Asics flagship shop combines lifestyle, coffee shop, workshop and sportswear. It represents a new concept of Asics experience that the Japanese brand wants to offer to consumers. Inspired by the story of the first Asics shoe and the brand’s craftsmanship, we came up with the idea of creating a wall of creatures with Asics shoes.
Kerastase
You’ve probably noticed our Tmall double eleven poster for Kerastase in the metro, outdoors or on Taobao during the double eleven. We created an iconic key visual that represents Kerastase as a brand to attract young consumers and ties in with the new product launch of the Paris Games packaging, all in the iconic TMALL maotou logo.
Arc’teryx
We designed an engaging pop-up branded art installation that would bring nature and outdoor adventure to Shanghai. Inspired by the Komorebi pattern and the brand’s spirit of adventure, visitors entering the brand multi-sensory experience enjoyed an immersive journey that would take them into the heart of the forest and away from Shanghai’s urban jungle.

LinkedIn Beijing
We branded the 1,800 sqm office for LinkedIn Shanghai in 2020. The project was featured in Wallpaper, Kinfolk and several other design magazines. At the end of 2021, we received another call from LinkedIn HQ to do the same for their Beijing office. Our creative strategy was inspired by the Five Rings of Beijing. Where LinkedIn is a global platform that promotes connection, trust, and harmony among people with different backgrounds, the Five Rings of Beijing creates a network across the Capital where people from all walks of life intersect and interact for work and play. Wukang Building
At last, here’s our internal project – The Mystery of Wukang Building! Our Founder & ECD Siu Tang came up with the idea of creating an amazing design series to get local residents through the Shanghai lockdown and keep our creativity alive during this difficult time. Inspired by the photo of the Wukang Building, we challenged our design team to let their minds run free and imagine the strange and mysterious things that would happen at the Wukang Building when the lights switch off and all you hear are the humming sounds of birds…
Our Highlight Moments
We received not one, not two, but seven recognitions in 2022! We won the Bronze Award for Boutique Agency of The Year by Campaign Asia and Siu Tang, our founder and ECD, was shortlisted as Creative Person of The Year. On top of that, we have won Best Brand and Identity APAC for three consecutive years and several awards for our client work including Arc’teryx, YUESAI Cosmetics, Lounge by Topgolf and Moxy Xian.
