The Story.

Lindt & Sprüngli wanted to transform their Shanghai office into a space that would boost employee collaboration, teamwork and well-being, while strengthening their brand identity among staff, clients and visitors.

“In Europe Lindt & Sprüngli’s premium quality and 175 years of heritage are well known. But in China, Lindt & Sprüngli is still differentiating itself and building a brand that will have a strong and lasting impact with consumers, clients and employees. We wanted our office space itself to play a role – to help our employees be our most effective brand ambassadors,” said Goncalo Vilarinho, CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli China.

Our Solution.

Using the brands iconography, we created brand installations for Lindt & Sprüngli’s office that convey the rich sensory experience that comes from eating it. Luxurious colours, images that change depending on the angle from which they’re viewed, all create a sense of interaction and storytelling. Putting the innovation rooms, where the ‘chocolate magic’ happens, as the first thing that visitors see also helped emphasise the chocolate credentials of the brand.

Show casing Lindt & Sprüngli’s commitment to China, The Orangeblowfish made contrasting use of English and Chinese when producing the brand installation. One part of the space was dedicated to English, representing the Western origins of the brand, while the other used Chinese, suggesting the future, and long-term commitment of the brand to China.

The Results
