Graphic Designer
Location: Shanghai
Position: Project-basis
Reporting to: Associate Creative Director
Responsibilities:
- Take briefs as part of a wider creative team and help generate ideas to present back to the our senior creatives
- Have a good knowledge and the ability to execute a range of different design styles and layouts
- Coordinate with project leads to determine their requirements, timescale and budget
- Develop concepts, graphics and layouts, including making decisions that are on brief
- Keep project team lead and senior creatives up to date on progress
- Listen and act on feedback, and explain the rationale behind graphic design decisions
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements if required.
- Liaise with external production partners to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality.
- Coordinate and prepare final artwork with printers and suppliers as required
- Image research and documentation as required
The Successful Candidate:
- Must be bilingual – fluent in Chinese and English. Chinese National is preferred.
- At least 2-4 years working experience in a graphic design role, preferably in an international agency
- Strong background in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong layout skills (colour, typography and composition)
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, plus proofing skills
- Ability to prioritize projects, as well as work under pressure to meet deadlines, and across multiple projects
- Good communication skills, self-motivated and takes initiative
- Have a good understanding of print media, digital media, branding and interactive design
- A willingness to stay current: keeping skills and knowledge update to industry trends and software
- Think proactively on behalf of the agency, considering new design/digital initiatives, trends and tools

Communications Coordinator (Intern role)
Location: Shanghai
Position: Intern
Reporting to: Project Lead
Days Required: 3-4x a week
Minimum Commitment: 6 months
Responsibilities:
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative and marketing projects.
• Create content calendars.
• Help with market research, online news monitoring, listening and community management.
• Learn how to pitch to and communicate with the media/influencers.
• Create content for online and offline channels
• Provide event logistical support as required
• Gain invaluable experience managing portions of a creative, marketing, digital projects.
The Successful Candidate:
• Fluent English and intermediate Mandarin skills are a must.
• A passion for communications and social media.
• A willingness to learn and work hard to get it right.
• Social media savvy – experience with WeChat, RED, IG, LinkedIn, and video editing will be a plus!
• Willing to learn online tools such as WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, Buffer.
• Must be already based in Shanghai.

Project Manager
Location: Shanghai

Reporting to: CEO
We’re looking to recruit a project management superstar who will join our team and be on a bunch of exciting projects. Projects will include a variety of creative and branding, to spatial designs across retail luxury, lifestyle and/or hospitality brands in Greater China.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced working environment and loves managing multiple live projects at any given time. The ideal candidate will be the client’s first point of contact, so it’s important that this individual has solid account management skills including developing and nurturing sound relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and internal teams. This ideal candidate will be mature enough to handle tough negotiations with clients and/or partners, while obtaining favourable outcomes for the Agency. In addition, the ideal candidate needs to have a can-do attitude, be able to read between the lines of communications, stay organised, be strategic, and be able to think on their feet to resolve problems… while maintaining their cool when things don’t turn out the way they should!
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Client Management:
- Ability to build and foster client relationships
- Gain clients’ trust at all levels and demonstrate an understanding of their businesses
- Independently manage client expectations to foster effectiveness and productivity
- Lead client meetings including briefing all involved parties of status updates, priorities, challenges and client feedback
- Understand client needs as well as develop and implement creative strategies and ideas to manage and grow accounts
- Prepare client reports including outlining, organizing and delivery reports/presentations – as required.
Project Management:
- Lead creative projects from beginning to end with confidence and autonomy.
- Produce quality briefings and ensure the Agency produces its best work on time, all the time.
- Build, manage, and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain seamless communication between clients and internal project teams and/or partners.
- Research and collate information for strategy and creative development.
- Provide accurate administration and budget allocation across projects.
- Ensure that the highest quality of work is produced profitably and within available budget.
- Be the last pair of eyes before any work is released to client.
- Identify and liaise with all third-party production partners for all projects.
- Source products from global and local suppliers as required for production needs.
- Liaise with suppliers, third party vendors and negotiating contracts and pricing as required.
- Provide on-going support to the client servicing and creative team during production phases.
- Assist with other tasks as directed by Agency senior team members.
Other responsibilities include:
- Support the creative team to deliver uniquely creative branding and effective solutions for clients.
- Apply creative and strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Act as mentor to other junior team members so that the quality of work delivered is always consistent, and continuously improving.
- Participate in business development and/or networking activities including but not limited to research, supporting pitch preparation and attending meetings.
The Successful Candidate:
- Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience working with an international creative / design agency and with solid account management experience.
- Is a team player and willing to go the extra mile.
- Has proven ability to act as an advisor to personnel who are Senior Managers and above.
- Is obsessed with everything relating to creative and design, brand experience, and best practices.
- Possesses a solid knowledge of digital tools such as WeChat, Weibo, RED, and more.
- Is a strong communicator and has the innate ability to navigate and interact with senior stakeholders to get the job done.
- Has the ability to navigate and adapt to new and challenging situations, solve problems, and communicate with those around you.
- Demonstrates strategic planning abilities such as revenue projections and account growth
- Must be fluent English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
