As most of you will know I have been in San Diego my annual pilgrimage to the Comic Con (the Con). It’s has been a crazy fun-filled adventure meeting some amazingly talented and creative people in the Comic, Movie, Animation and toy industry. My trip last year was a blur due to the fact I had jet lag and didn’t sleep for 72 hours but this year I planned things right, got there early and got my own hotel room. This allowed me to focus on attending panels to learn and further develop my skills as an artist.

This wasn’t my only goal as I was desperate to learn more about the new Transformer Toy releases, Sculptures by Sideshow Collectibles, Animation by Marvel and sneak peaks at new movies like Wreck-it-Ralph (which will be amazing!!)

Lastly I had the best time meeting and taking pictures with all the cos-play attendees at the Con. They were always friendly and willing to get in to crazy poses with me. They are also the main reason that the Con is so much fun, without them the Con would not have the same level of energy and excitement. It’s the only place on earth where fan-boys young and old can get together and talk about the merits and faults of the Transformers movies whilst dressed as an Aqauabat! (true story)
